The Oilfield Crawfish Boil-off is a charitable event sponsored by the BURAS VOL. FIRE DEPT. The purpose is to raise funds for department improvement projects, such as purchasing small equipment items, In house training, fire prevention at local schools, summer camp, and vacation bible schools. local High School homecoming parades, Fourth of July fireworks display, National night out against crime, community Christmas parade, Christmas angle display on light poles in the Buras fire district while providing an entertaining event for all to enjoy a good-natured competition for those in the community who wish to prove they have the best-boiled crawfish.

TIME

Gates open to the public at 11:00 A.M.

It all ends a t 6:00 P.M.


MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT


BAND 11am - 2pm, Junior & Sumtin Sneaky
Band 2pm - 6pm, Arron Foret 



EVENTS

Teams of four (4) members will boil a minimum of six (6) sacks of crawfish competing to see who can boil the best crawfish. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, People's Choice, and Best In Show

TICKETS

Advance Tickets $10.00
Tickets day of the event $15.00
Children under 12 are admitted free and must accompany an adult.

SPONSORSHIP

CORPORATE PLATINUM SPONSOR- a contribution of $1,000.00 includes a 16' X 8' team booth recognition of your company on the posters, advertisements, and the 8’ x 8’ platinum sponsorship banner on display the day of the event. and a 3’ x 6’ banner on display the day of the event, a four {4} man boil team that will boil a minimum of 6 sacks of crawfish per booth, 10 advance tickets, a cap and shirt for each team member.


CORPORATE GOLD SPONSOR- a contribution of $500.00 includes a 8' X 8' team booth recognition of your company on a 2’ x 5’ banner on display the day of the event, a four{4} man boil team that will boil a minimum of 6 sacks of crawfish per booth, 6 advance tickets and a cap for each team member.

SILVER SPONSOR- a contribution of $300.00 includes a 8' X 8' team booth, a 2’ x 3’ corply sign with your company name on display the day of the event, a four {4} man boil team that will boil a minimum of 6 sacks of crawfish per booth, and a cap for each team member.

BRONZE SPONSOR- a contribution of $100.00 includes an 18” x 24” corply sign with your company name on display the day of the event.

FOUR MAN BOIL TEAM- a contribution of $100.00 includes a 8' X 8' team booth, a four {4} man boil team, that will boil a minimum of 6 sacks of crawfish per booth, and a cap for each team member.

 

BOILING TRAILERS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR!
